Your Role: What you will be doing

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead in multidisciplinary international assignments. You are the pivot between strategic policy goals and practical on-site implementation.

· Strategic Project Leadership: You manage the full project lifecycle, from tender preparation and scope definition to final delivery, ensuring technical excellence and financial feasibility.

· Deep Technical Advisory: You leverage your specific expertise (e.g., hazardous waste logistics, EPR policy, or circular economy frameworks) to provide high-end consultancy and technical reviews.

· Complex Stakeholder Management: You bridge the gap between national ministries, international donors, and local communities, facilitating consensus and capacity building.

· Operational Excellence: You lead and supervise multidisciplinary field teams, ensuring compliance with international safety and environmental standards (e.g., Basel/Stockholm Conventions).

· Business Development: You actively identify new opportunities and represent TAUW in international expert groups and missions.

What sets you apart?

We are looking for a true professional who thrives on autonomy and possesses the "pioneer spirit" to manage operations in diverse environments.

· Deep Expertise: You possess a solid background (10+ years) in a specialized area, such as hazardous waste management, circular economy, or environmental policy.

· International Track Record: You have extensive experience in leading international projects, preferably in developing regions, and you are comfortable working with donor-funded frameworks.

· Social & Technical Balance: You combine a sharp technical/analytical mind (e.g., environmental engineering, toxicology, or financial waste management) with the social skills to facilitate workshops and negotiate with high-level stakeholders.

· Education: Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

· Language: Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Proficiency in French or Spanish is a major asset, given our global project locations.

· Resilience: You are highly adaptable to diverse cultures, challenging working conditions, and you are prepared to travel internationally.

Local Impact, Global Reach

While your focus is on our international portfolio, you will also play a pivotal role in strengthening TAUW’s presence in your stand-by country. You will engage in local projects, fostering collaborations with local stakeholders, authorities, and business partners. This ensures that you stay connected to the regional environmental challenges and allows you to apply our global expertise to local solutions, creating a synergy between international best practices and local implementation.
